The market remains challenging although there are some positive signs of improvement. Viewings are still a little low however most activity is from seriously minded purchasers. It is important that asking prices remain realistic, to that end our sellers are realistic in there expectations and where necessarily have reviewed price accordingly. Our March 2008 sales figures were an improvement on last years, so yes there is activity.
Confidence is the key ingredient in securing a sale and this has obviously been knocked by negative press over the last few months.

The property market is indeed slow, but it is not dead.
EBG are a professional firm of estate agents doing exactly the right thing at the present time and in the present challenging conditions - giving the right professional advice on marketing stratergy and pricing to all of their new and current sellers.
It is only by doing this (and their clients taking that advice and acting on it) that an effective sale can be acheived.
And clients must remember too, that although the price of their property may be reduced, the chances are that the one that they wish to buy has been reduced too - therefore the differential for their intended move remains the same. So there is no loss in real terms!
