Our History

Escritt Barrell Golding are an independent progressive firm of chartered surveyors and estate agents. The firm has prominent town centre showrooms in Grantham and Sleaford with departments specialising in all aspects of residential, commercial and agricultural property.

The firm was founded in 1860 by Henry Escritt who later in 1900 formed a partnership with Cecil Barrell. In the same year, G W Golding commenced practising in the town and established the firm of Goldings. Escritt & Barrell and Goldings practised independently for some 105 years before joining together in 2006. The firm has a strong team of dedicated staff who pride themselves in their ability to provide a fast, efficient, personal service in respect of all property matters tailored to the client’s individual requirements.
