Commercial Department Grantham
Stephen Short BSc FRICS
Stephen is the firm's managing partner, he is responsible for the residential and commercial departments. He is a chartered surveyor and estate agent with years of experience. Stephen is a member of the Grantham Rotary Club and takes an avid interest in all local activities. Outside of work his hobbies include the countryside, gardening, walking and his family.
Maggie Jackson Maggie is the firm's longest serving member of staff, she is our senior secretary and works for Mr Short and Mr Bishop. She is a wizard on the keyboard (not musical) and works to the highest professional standards at all times. No task is ever too big or too small. Maggie treats everything with the utmost confidentiality. Maggie enjoys cryptic crosswords, travelling, gardening and is devoted to her grandchildren.
Survey Department Grantham & Sleaford
Ian Shaw FRICS FNAEA Ian is the firm's residential partner. Ian an experienced chartered surveyor and estate agent with a wealth of knowledge, having practiced locally for over 30 years. He is highly respected within the industry. Ian has a wide range of interests including music, theatre, keep fit, marathon running and is a member of many local organisations.
Debbie KelsoDebbie provides secretarial support to Ian Shaw including the preparation of Homebuyers Reports, arrangement of his appointments for valuations, surveys and Energy Performance Certificates. Her interests include theatre going, foreign travel and shopping.
Agricultural Department Grantham
Geoffrey Bishop MRICS FAAV Geoffrey is the agricultural partner for the firm and heads the agricultural department. Geoffrey has worked in agricultural practice since the late eighties, he is well known to all the farmers around Grantham and the surrounding area. His interests include horse riding and spending time with his family.
Lucy Kay Bsc (Hons) MRICSLucy is Geoffrey's assistant in the agricultural department and is well known to many of the farmers in the local area. Lucy's interests are all rural pursuits, horse riding, singing, and making jewellery.
Vicky Cant Vicky provides the vital administrative support in the agricultural department and is secretary to Geoffrey Bishop.
Grantham Residential Sales Department
Diane Park MNAEA DEA Residential Sales ManagerDiane Park has over 24 years experience in estate agency & residential property management. During her career Diane has followed some simple rules, providing vendors & buyers alike with a high quality service. Diane has passed the NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Estate Agency and Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment. Diane's interests are spending time with her family and gardening.
Edward Jepson MNAEA Ed is an experienced estate agent, he can provide you with advice whether you're selling or buying. Ed has passed his NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Estate Agency and conducts some market appraisals. More recently he became a dad. His hobbies include football, mainly Sheffield Wednesday, snooker, most sports and his family.
Pam Cameron-Clarke Pam is Senior Sales Negotiator, she has over 23 years experience within the property industry. Pam has excellent knowledge of the local market and is keenly focused on customer service. She is dedicated to ensuring that our clients receive the service she would expect herself! Outside the office, Pam is an avid reader and enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family.
Philip DakinPhil has worked for the company for over 3 years and undertakes the accompanied viewings, although you may sometimes see him on appointments during the week. When he's not showing prospective buyers and tenants around our properties Phil enjoys renovating houses and restoring classic motor bikes.
Grantham Residential Lettings Department
Carly Sale Senior Lettings Negotiator
Carly joined the company in July 2010, she oversees the day to day running of the office. Carly has worked within the lettings industry for 6 years and is currently studying for her NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. Carly’s interests include spending time with her family and friends, shopping and music.
Michaela Canham MARLAMichaela studied law, accountancy and psychology at Grantham College. Setting her up for a career in residential lettings! Michaela’s interests are her family, friends, music and shopping. Michaela has passed the NFOPP technical award in Residential Letting and Property Management and is studying for the NFOPP Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property.
Rosje EastRosje is one of our longest serving members of staff and has a wealth of knowledge. She jointly runs our residential lettings department in Grantham. Rosje has considerable experience and is well known in the local area. Rosje is a volunteer fundraiser for local charity St Barnabas Hospice which covers Grantham and Sleaford, helping with their events. Her other interests include her family, foreign travel and rugby.
Elizabeth CharlesLizze works in the letting and accounts departments. She is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and good local knowledge. She deals with the letting procedures and legislation and has 8 years experience of working within the lettings industry. Lizze enjoys spending time with her family and friends and entertaining.
Edward HileyEdward joined the company in February 2010 and works full time in the residential lettings department, although he is often found helping out in our sales office. Edward is currently studying for an MSc in Surveying at the College of Estate Management in Reading
Sleaford Residential Sales & Lettings Departments
Lisa Churchman Lisa grew up in property with her dad being a chartered surveyor. After doing a degree in set and interior design, Lisa became an air hostess with aims of seeing the world, here she was taught a very high level of customer service, which she aims to pass on to all her clients. She has been in the estate agency world for 7 years working in Lincoln, Grantham and Sleaford, both valuing and selling.
David CottamDavid is an experienced valuer who has a comprehensive knowledge of the local area. His experience covers all types of property from modern to period. He will ensure your valuation is a realistic reflection of your individual property in the current market.
Hayley BentonHayley works in Sleaford part time working across all our departments including Santander, sales, and lettings. Having lived in the area all of her life, her local knowledge is excellent as are her customer service skills.
Bob GrahamslawBob is often the first representative of the company that our applicants meet, he does all the accompanied viewings and he takes a lot of pride in this aspect of the job.
Janet WottonJanet has worked at Sleaford for 2 years having previously worked for a firm of local solicitors. She helps out in both residential sales and lettings. Her customer service skills are matched with her excellent local knowledge of Sleaford town.
Karen HaroldKaren manages the Sleaford letting department. Karen has spent the last 14 years in both the estate agency and financial services market, including time with HSBC. Karen left her former career as a mortgage consultant after having gained all her financial qualifications, to spend more time with her family and mad springer spaniel!
Sleaford Survey Department
Edward Wreglesworth FRICS FAAVEdward Wreglesworth qualified in Nottingham as a chartered surveyor in 1969 and joined the Sleaford office of Escritt and Barrell in 1975. During his tenure as the resident senior partner at our Sleaford office the world of estate agency has transformed radically. He has 35 years of local experience in the increasingly specialised residential, commercial and agricultural property markets.
Accounts
Margaret SmithMargaret is the senior accounts and personnel administrator. Margaret is a key member of the team, she pays everyone’s salaries! Her role involves dealing with accounts, managing payroll and personnel administration. Margaret’s interests are foreign travel, ten-pin bowling and her family.
Paul Hand
Paul Hand is our property accounts adminstrator, he deals with all of the tranactions for residential and commercial lettings. Paul has previously worked as a financial auditor and accounts manager. Paul's interests include ballroom room dancing and spending time with his family.
Sleaford Santander Agency
Wendy Chambers
Wendy joined the company in October 2011 and heads up the Santander agency at our Sleaford office. Whilst also working in our residential sales department.She prides herself on delivering the high level of customer service we are reputed for.
Janice has worked for us now for nine years, mainly working in the Santander agency for the business. She also helps out with the office administration and sales. Janice has good knowledge of Sleaford and expericence of the local market.
